Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Confirm the amount with our team.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will set your move-in date and provide all initial inspection details at the lease signing.

Utilities

You are responsible for placing all utilities for your rental home in your name immediately following the lease signing. Remember, you need to keep all utility accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental home? You'll need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises. Refer to your lease to determine the legal move-out date for your residence.

Property Condition

Before handing in the keys for your property, you'll need to bring it back to rent-ready condition. This includes the following:

Rental Cleaning: Cleaning your rental home before moving out is essential to secure your deposit and leave a positive impression. Start by decluttering and removing personal items. Clean inside cabinets, drawers, and appliances, including the oven and refrigerator. Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including baseboards and light fixtures. Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.

Scrub and disinfect the bathroom, paying attention to grout and fixtures. Don't forget to clean windows and blinds.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically handle landscaping chores for your property, such as mowing the lawn, please take care of these once more before moving out.

Repairs: Please make any necessary repairs before moving out of your rental property. This includes patching nail and screw holes, replacing any broken glass, and repainting any discolored walls.

Security Deposit

After moving out of your rental home, we will perform a final inspection. If we identify any damage, we will schedule repairs and use the deposit to cover these expenses.

Your deposit may also be used to cover any unpaid fees on your account. Remember, you cannot use the security deposit for your final rent payment.
